When it comes to choosing a science fair project, there are many topics to choose from. First you should choose a category that interests you. There are 10 basic categories to choose from: · Astronomy, which is the study of stars, planets of the solar system and universe. · Biology, which is the study of all living things including humans, animals and plants. · Zoology, which is the study of animals. · Chemicals, which is the study of substances and transformations. · Earth Sciences, which is the study of the Earth. · Engineering, which is the operation of a machine or mechanism. · Environmental, which is the study of sources and their control, ecology, recycling, recovery, restoration, composting, acid rain, effects of pollution. · Microbiology is the study of test organisms such as bacteria, fungi and yeasts. · Physical Science, which is the study of matter and energy. · Mathematics, which uses numbers and symbols to study amounts and forms.Once have chosen a category that interests you is only a matter of finding a question you want answered in that category. For example, if you were to choose to Zoology you might ask, "How to differentiate the life of a dolphin living in captivity when compared to wild life in the United States?" and then it would be the subject of research to find the many different themes are answer.There for each category, so it's all a matter of preference. If you love animals then you would probably go with biology or zoology and choose a topic from there, if you like working with numbers to solve problems then it would be better to choose a theme under the category of mathematics. If you love animals, you would probably go with biology or zoology and get a problem out there, if you want to work with numbers, we want to solve problems, so better to choose a theme under the category of mathematics.
